Jean-Claud has been around ballooning as pilot, event organiser, event director and FAI official since 1978. He has logged over 1500 hours as a balloon pilot/competitor and several hundred as a glider and fixed-wing pilot. Jean-Claude has been the FAI's Ballooning Commission President since 1998.
